atomic-filament-extreme-impact-modified-black-pla-filament-1-75mm-1kg-1

As someone who has experienced the world of 3D printing, I have to say that this Atomic Filament’s Extreme Impact Modified Gun Metal Gray PLA is a game-changer. The filament’s impact-modified feature significantly reduces brittleness and increases the strength and resistance of the final print. The rich Gun Metal Gray color is a delight to work with, and I’ve noticed a pleasant matte finish to the printed items.

Where this filament truly shines is in its durability. I’ve dropped and thrown parts made with this filament multiple times, and they’ve never broken or cracked. The only downside I’ve encountered is during the print removal process. Because this filament is strong, it can be quite stubborn to remove from printed parts, especially if the support structures aren’t properly calibrated.

Overall, I highly recommend this Atomic Filament to anyone looking for a reliable, versatile, and durable PLA for their 3D printing projects. Just be prepared to adjust your settings for some of the more challenging aspects, like retraction and print speed, and ensure your printer is up for the task.

🔗Carbon Fiber Infused Atomic Filament Ultra Black ABS

atomic-filament-carbon-fiber-ultra-black-abs-1-75mm-1kg-1

I’ve had the opportunity to try out Atomic Filament’s Carbon Fiber Ultra Black ABS and let me tell you, it truly exceeded my expectations. The product delivered an impressive low luster appearance after printing and a textured surface that felt great to the touch. It’s perfect for technical prints and parts.

One of the biggest perks I noticed while using this product was the excellent layer bonding, which kept shrinkage minimal. The matte finish was a bonus, helping hide layers and providing a more durable finished part. Its 1.75mm thickness was ideal, making it a perfect fit for various applications.

However, I did face a few issues during use. As mentioned in some reviews, this product seemed to have a high sensitivity to temperature settings, so I had to tweak my printer’s configuration to achieve optimal results. On occasion, I also encountered minor troubles with filament sticking to the extruder due to its specific properties. But overall, the pros outweighed the cons.

Given the incredible dimensional stability offered by this product, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an improved printing experience. Just make sure you do your research and adjust your printer settings according to the recommendations — the extra effort is definitely worth it.

🔗Carbon Fiber Infused Extreme Black PLA Filament — High Quality Printing Material

atomic-filament-carbon-fiber-extreme-black-pla-filament-1-75mm-1kg-1

I recently gave Atomic Filament’s Extreme Black PLA a try for a project that required a carbon fiber look. The moment I unboxed the filament, I was impressed with how the spool felt. It’s a quality product that immediately gave me confidence.

I started printing with the recommended settings, and the filament performed exceptionally well. The surface had a deep black, slightly textured finish with no transparency, giving parts a professional look. The sample coils available were a helpful addition for testing purposes.

However, one thing to note is that this filament requires more care than your average PLA. I experienced clogging during the printing process with a steel nozzle, but switched to brass and had smooth sailing from there on out.

To prevent any potential issues, it’s recommended to print with a larger nozzle, especially considering the carbon-fiber content. Some reviews suggest starting with a 0.5mm or 0.6mm nozzle. I found a switch to this size eliminated clogging issues entirely.

In summary, this Extreme Black PLA is an impressive filament that delivers a deep, textured print ideal for professional-looking technical parts. Be prepared to take precautions, though, as there’s a need for a brass nozzle and protective gear while handling the filament.

🔗High-Performance Atomic Filament for 3D Printing

taulman3d-alloy-910-filament-2-85mm-1lb-black-2-pack-1

I recently had the opportunity to try out the taulman3D Alloy 910 Filament in a 2.85mm, black (near-black) color, 1lb pack as a part of my daily 3D printing routine. Coming from a background in general engineering, I was excited to see if this “perfect filament for high-performance 3D printing” was really as great as it was claimed to be.

The filament proved to be quite user-friendly, with a printing temperature range of 250°C to 255°C, complemented by a print bed temperature of 30 to 65°C. The filament size of 2.85mm made it versatile for a wide range of 3D printed objects.

One of the highlights of using the taulman3D Alloy 910 was the ease of support removal. Due to its nylon-based polymer, it seemed to work much better than ABS when it came to removing supports from the printed pieces. This feature definitely added convenience to my 3D printing workflow.

However, when it came to tensile strength, the material fell slightly short of the claims, offering around 8,100 psi tensile and 32% elongation. While these values were respectable, they weren’t as impressive as the stated “tensile strength higher than the strongest co-polyesters” or the “durability of Nylons. “

Overall, the taulman3D Alloy 910 Filament provided a satisfactory experience for my 3D printing projects, with its easy support removal being the standout feature. However, it could have performed better in terms of tensile strength, making it a suitable option for those working with high-performance 3D printing projects in enclosures, high-impact parts, and mechanical linkages.

🔗Atikam Teal HTPLA Solid Filament for Tools

protopasta-atikam-teal-htpla-solid-teal-pla-filament-ral-5021-pla-1-75mm-1kg-spool-1

Recently, I’ve been using Protopasta Atikam Teal HTPLA to enhance some projects I’ve been working on. As someone who appreciates teal, this has been an exciting addition to my toolbox of materials. The prints come out looking absolutely stunning, with their matte black finish that almost completely hides the layer lines.

One feature that truly impressed me was the filament’s ability to be heat treated or annealed by baking it in an oven. This enhances the strength of the printed items, which can be a game changer for certain types of projects. However, I wasn’t able to test this feature yet as my projects didn’t require it, but it’s definitely a promising aspect.

The only downside I’ve noticed so far is the occasional stringing issue during printing. I tried adjusting the retraction settings, temperature, and speed, but I still haven’t been able to fully resolve this problem. Hopefully, future updates to the filament will address this issue.

Overall, I’m highly satisfied with Protopasta Atikam Teal HTPLA. It’s been a reliable material to work with and the stunning teal color only adds to its allure.

As someone who enjoys playing around with 3D printing, I’ve recently come across this amazing product. The Atomstack TPR 3D Printer Filament 2.85mm Diameter Flexible Rubber 1kg Spool, or Atomic Filament as I like to call it, has truly caught my attention. When I first got my hands on it, I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy and soft the filament felt in my hands.

One of the most notable features of this flexible rubber is its high toughness and resilience. It’s not easy to warp or bubble up during the printing process, making it a breeze to work with. Plus, the high elasticity and resilience rate give it that extra softness and bounce, making the printed objects feel more realistic and durable.

The TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber) material used in this filament is also environmentally friendly, which is a bonus in my book. It’s odorless, and it meets various safety and environmental standards like ROHS, REACH, EN71–3, and ASTMF963.

When it comes to the application, the possibilities are endless. You can use it for all sorts of things, from designing toys and footwear to creating intricate models and even pressure cooker pads. The spool offers a generous 1kg/spool, which is approximately 2.2lbs of flexible rubber, so you can really get creative with your 3D printing projects.

All in all, the Atomstack TPR 3D Printer Filament 2.85mm Diameter Flexible Rubber 1kg Spool has been a game-changer for me, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone interested in exploring the world of 3D printing.
